This section aims at providing an introduction to the main tools have been released or are currently under development in precision viticulture. It is addressed to anybody (students, viticulturists, technicians, wine growers, etc) wishing to have an overview of what is precision viticulture. This section provides a brief description of the main systems, such as sensors and monitoring systems, used to collect information at a within-field level in viticulture. It focuses on the assessment of harvest parameters (yield and quality) as well as parameters related to plant vigour and the soil.
